(Warning ... dear reader ... I have PMS)
Looks like my son's biological father got him the exact same thing that he has gotten him for the past 13 Christmases and Birthdays -- absolutely nothing. A real piece of work that one is. He can't blame his abominably atrocious behavior on his wife any longer. She is no longer around and he's still the same pathetic, self-absorbed, whiny infant that he always has been. Thank goodness my boyfriend has been here throughout my son's life. It restores my faith to see a man who expresses love and concern and knows how to be a REAL FATHER.
We have his birthday planned out. First, he is going to get a new haircut at Jet Rhys Salon. When my boyfriend gets home from work he is going to bring Gnocchi with Pesto Sauce from one of my son's favorite restaurants, Lorna's Italian Kitchen. We will eat, have cake and ice-cream and open gifts. Then the 3 of us will head over to K1 Speedway to race go-karts. If we get hungry later in the evening we will stop for pizza somewhere. On Sunday he has a 2-hour surfing lesson scheduled with Kahuna Bob. I think this will be a birthday that he'll remember.
