Fasting Day 22 -- 140.2

My stomach growled with hunger this evening. Perhaps because I drank a glass of water mixed with 1 tsp artificially sweetened metamucil in the afternoon? I don't know, but it was quite uncomfortable -- reminiscent of the very first day of fasting. On my next fasting day, I will go without the fiber.

A heavy storm is buffeting the west coast. It is raining outside and dreary, so we decided to visit a bookstore. My boyfriend got some tech books. I got my son the book, "Number the Stars", a Newberry Award winning book by Lois Lowry. For myself, I got Dan Brown's "Angels & Demons" the special illustrated edition. It's not quite the page turner that the DaVinci Code was -- but it's a fun read despite its inplausibility.
